Improvement of NOx and CO Reduction Performance at Low Temperature of H2-SCR Catalyst

The purpose of this study is to improve the simultaneous reduction NOX and CO, harmful gases emitted from internal combustion engines, at low temperatures using a Pt/TiO2 H2-SCR catalyst. A better NOX/CO performance was observed upon loading 2 wt% additive catalyst CeO2 on main Pt because oxygen storage capacity improved. In presence water gas reaction promoted, resulting in conversion rate by 0.5Pt−2CeO2/TiO2 SCR 42 % 75 °C 70 100 °C; 15 ∼ 20 higher as compared without CO temperatures. 0.5Pt−2CeO2−2ZrO2/TiO2 highest below °C. At an appropriate amount ZrO2, improved acid point surface intensity adsorption are adjusted. optimum temperature for 400 Our results also indicate that species has significant impact.
